I’m a Pilates trainer. What a wonderful vocation — I get to teach people how to move well for a lifetime. After working with thousands of clients from all walks of life, my teaching style has evolved from what is often called ‘classical Pilates.’
You see, some people only have the ability to come see me once. Or, they’ll work with me for a week at a resort, and then they need to go home. Rather than sticking with the classic style of Pilates that leads to change over a long period of time, I’ve put together the Ageless Pilates System. It quickly empowers people to eliminate their painful muscle patterns, while building strength, flexibility and balance.
The beauty of the system is that it transfers into your everyday life. Don’t be surprised when you notice your body responding with comfortable posture, loose and easy movement patterns, and a renewed sense of energy.
I use this system every day when I train my private clients and groups at the Nike World Headquarters. In the very first session, each of my clients has a lightbulb moment when they realize that they’re moving differently and their body feels effortless.
That is the Ageless difference: easy, effortless movement; no pain.
THREE CONCEPTS MAKE THIS SYSTEM TRANSFORMATIONAL
These three concepts are very different than what you’ll hear in Classical Pilates training or in a group fitness class. When combined, they transform body alignment and body mechanics, creating movement patterns that quickly build strength, flexibility and comfort while eliminating pain.
The ABC’s — Anchor Points, Body Geometry and Comfort Choices — guide all of the positions and movements in the Ageless Pilates system. You follow them — A-B-C — to make each exercise safe, comfortable and effective. Very quickly, something amazing happens. Your body starts performing the ABC’s as part your daily life. All movements become safe, comfortable and effective. People find themselves standing taller and moving with ease. They’re excited about doing the things that they loved, but had put aside — like gardening, playing golf, and chasing the kids.

“Ageless Pilates is a terrific book that meets the needs of the many in an easy formula, everyone can use every day!”
I recommend Ageless Pilates to my clients. It has been well written in exploration and explanation — A Must Read!

Ageless Pilates has fantastic images and cues for correct alignment. This is a great book to guide you into beginning your exercise program with an emphasis on the foundations of the Pilates method.
I have reviewed many fitness and wellness books, and I am very careful to suggest the right ones, but Ageless Pilates is one of those books. After carefully reviewing this book, the author has made a point to address the most important issue I feel is necessary for a self help book, and that is making exercise work for the individual and developing an improved body awareness. This helps people to listen to their own guidance system which will benefit them in the biggest way possible.
I will pass this on to my patients.

Ageless pilates is the perfect book to help ANYONE work smarter rather than harder at becoming physically and mentally healthier.
Christine – I came upon your LinkedIn profile. I teach aqua – both group and personal training and host cruises for those in my classes and their friends – leading private classes aboard so my folks can take their exercise on vacation w/them. As Fitness Host Coordinator for Fun & Fitness Travel Club I also seek others to host their hometown classes/friends – all certified instructors in the modality they practice. I invite you to view http://www.fun-fitness.com and give me a call if you are interested in learning more. The info I see on LinkedIn and your website and indicates you (and especially those you serve) would benefit from a Fun & Fitness cruise. I hope to hear from you soon, I leave to host my 4th Alaska cruise early September.
It looks fun. If we see some comments about people wanting an Ageless cruise, I’ll be in touch!
Found your blog via bing the other day and absolutely liked it so much. Carry on the excellent work.
